SOUL CRAFT is a dynamic musical force hailing from the Washington DC/Northern Virginia Metro Area, the spawning ground of the legendary DC Hardcore scene. With roots in the DC area, the band couldn’t help but be influenced by local legends Bad Brains, thus the name Soul Craft (from the album Quickness) as well as each member’s diverse background which fuses genres like Hardcore, Metal, Reggae, Rock & Punk. The common denominators of their sound are the bounce, the groove, the off-beat nuances, and their pummeling breakdowns. The formula that Soul Craft uses is simply to create music as fans of music.
JENNY HATES TECHNO is an indie rock band based out of the Washington, D.C. and Maryland area. Their genre-transcending sound blends soulful vocals, punk guitars, distorted bass, and heavy, funky drums into a style often described as "Soul-Punk" or "Post-Punk Funk." The lineup features Danielle Williams on vocals, John M. Ellison IV on guitar, Boo Dixon on bass, and Bala on drums. Over the years, the group has brought their energetic live performances to notable regional events and venues like Adams Morgan Day and the Pie Shop DC.
THAYLOBLEU is a Washington, D.C.-based rock band that masterfully blends a classic, driving rock-and-roll foundation with a distinct D.C. hardcore punk aroma. Formed around 2010, the group consists of veteran local musicians, including frontman Terence Nicholson and guitarist Darrell Perry, who drew upon their deep roots in the city's hip-hop scene to bring a unique lyrical texture to the project. They are known for a heavy sound they proudly describe as "Funk Rock," pulling influences from 1970s metal, jazz, and punk legends like Bad Brains and Black Flag. Their acclaimed 2016 debut album, Oscars & Jellyfish, paired blistering guitars with sharp, socially conscious storytelling tackling issues like gentrification and police harassment.
