Josee Molavi brings soul-jazz vocals to center stage in her genre-bending, artful sound. Molavi is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and songwriter grown from blues rock roots. With her electric stage presence and dynamic discography, Molavi fronts a band of high-caliber multi-genre musicians (aka her childhood friends) working together out of her home studio to write, produce, and record everything DIY. Her sound, orchestrated alongside producer Alex Hagopian, combines intricate melodies and acoustic textures against an indie-alternative backdrop.
