Erasergirl is a grunge/shoegaze band from Washington, DC that blends ethereal walls-of-sound with early-90's grit. Formed in 2024 by Grace Plihal, Christopher van Deutekom, Elena Salinas O'Toole, Sagan Gor and Milton Guevara, their goal was to combine influences with themes of identity, growth and reflections on the world around them.
With roots stretching from the American South to South America, the Bronx to Berlin, Süper Tuesday is one of The Swamp’s hottest new bands. Led by frontman Nicholas Batman, with Josh Cergas on bass, Schimon Dieseler on drums, and Ebenezer Ademola on guitar, Süper Tuesday’s sound is grounded in soul and defined by its grit. They’ve played to packed rooms across D.C. and New York, from Madams Organ and Death Punch to Connolly’s in Times Square, and their debut funk-rock single “Sick on You” lit the fuse for what’s next. Their follow-up pop anthem, “Grudge,” was released in May 2025. They will be launching their first East Coast tour this fall.
Süper Tuesday is Soul for the disillusioned, Groove for the weary, and rhythm for the rhymeless.
North by North (CHI)
Formed in 2012, North by North is the rock & roll dream of two weirdos from Chicago. Their music has been forged through years of teen angst, twenty-something alienation, sleeping in vans, and living on a stage. Anchored by syrupy hooks, roaring guitar and bombastic drums, North by North produces a huge sound that has captivated thousands of people over hundreds of performances and festivals across the US, UK, Canada, and Europe.
What do a goth kid, an indie rocker, a vinyl addict, and a Beatlemaniac have in common? Apparently, a lot of Wayne’s World jokes.
Dear Daria is composed of Washington, DC music veterans Maryjo Mattea, Joshua Hunter, Eamonn Donnelly, and Dan ABH. The band writes storyteller songs about angst, love, social commentary, mental health, and a longing for the world to be the kind of safe and accepting place we all wished we lived in. Their spirit is informed by a post-modern mosaic of cultural references. Musically, Dear Daria is a brightly-colored swirl of power pop, indie rock, alt-rock, and pop punk. Frontwoman Maryjo Mattea says “it's like if Lennon and McCartney grew up in the 90s”.
