Erasergirl (stylized as one word) is a Washington DC based alt rock band building a space where shoegaze haze meets grunge grit. Drawing from the dense atmosphere of My Bloody Valentine, the harsh beauty of Title Fight, and the emotional weight of Deftones, the band filters those influences through a lens distinctly their own. Heavy where it needs to be, vulnerable where it counts.
The band released their debut EP, 30, along with an accompanying remix collection, establishing an early identity. They've built their presence across DC's vibrant live scene, performing at Songbyrd, Black Cat, and the MLK Library, and have shared the bill with local legends J. Robbins, Flowers for the Dead and many others.
New Passengers is a coming together of four musicians with roots in alt-country, punk, ambient, and indie rock. They are at home playing local bills with punk bands, as well as quiet backyard acoustic shows. With songs that range from propulsive post-punk to delicate meditations, their lyrics sit at the intersection of our internal and external lives. Their songs might be compared to Yo La Tengo, with the harmonic leanings of XTC, and the lyrical bent of Bill Calahan.
Bohemian Waxwing play a jangling, upbeat, and melodic style of indie garage rock that pulls threads from the Dunedin sound as well as stalwarts such as The Byrds and Robyn Hitchcock. Their songs weave shimmering guitars, tight rhythms, vocal harmonies, and wry lyricism into a sound equally at home in a dive bar or on a sunny afternoon in the park.
