New York-based and Ohio-raised Claire Ozmun is soft and mean, a nascent songwriter with a powerful alto voice and even deeper conviction to cut to the core. The literacy and wit of her lyrics don't glamorize the unflinching voice behind them (all lipstick, all pig).
