Join Buko Buko, The Armors, and Gigi Gigi Marie for a benefit show supporting Survivors.Org.
Survivors.org is a critical source of resources and support for survivors of sexual assault. This year, they lost essential federal funding that keeps their services available for people in need all over the country.
DC-based BUKO BUKO is a happy punk band born out of boredom from sad, soggy, serious punk music and fueled by Riot Grrrl and mean mommy energy. BUKO BUKO live shows are an experience to laugh, dance, and mosh. They don bright colors and cheap wigs, feed fans gummy worms, and get the crowd moshing to songs like “Spaghetti Time.” BUKO BUKO’s debut album, titled All You Can Eat, was released this year as a labor of love (literally) to "bring feral joy to the mosh pit," as Washington Post writes.
The sound of BUKO BUKO is filled with buzzy bass lines, emotional guitar outbursts, and shake-worthy drums. Their song topics range from food metaphors to immigrant manifestos and they're known for their banter and crazy dance moves. BUKO BUKO means “young coconut” in Tagalog and is a nod to the singer’s half-Filipino heritage
The Armors combine hard-hitting classic rock swagger and punk rock urgency while nodding to the emo born out of DC’s Revolution Summer. Over the past two years, they’ve torn through bars, record stores, and basements. Look out for their first full-length album in early 2026!
